Honestly? Probably not- the most recent research that really changed the way for SLPs and just research about stuttering is from 2012/2014/2015/2017/2018 Before like in 2003-there were still thoughts that parents did this, trauma did this, ignoring it will fix it, and a bunch of other hogwash. It’s like the Dead community from the 1950s-80s where SLPs were taught to not have them use sign at all even bind hands or smack them with a ruler! It’s because they would never have a place in the hearing world... Obviously that dumb and language input is the most important and there isn’t anything wrong with being deaf! Too many times medical/educational/and people who help shape our very lives who are out there with every intention to help are being taught by goldfish climbing a tree.
