I would say I'm near fluent now just with the occasional block - this would have mad 15-year-old me cry tears of happiness. The biggest thing for me was getting comfortable with just being me around the time I turned 30. Now late 30s, grey hair and kids, I'm no longer self-conscious about anything really as the daily focus is on my kids, my job or whatever task I have to complete. I'm still slightly awkward in social situations, but the anxiety (and perhaps as a result, my stutter) is pretty much gone.
