Media refers to movies, games, books, tv shows, music, print media like newspapers and I guess social media these days. But again, stutterers aren't common in any of these anywhere so it wouldn't be a good way to look for this. It's super rare everywhere so most people don't really think about it. But stuttering is rare in general, in my life I've met two stutters randomly and they spoke different languages. Also spelling bees are uncommon because it's kind of a useless skill. Even in the US they generally stop spelling bees once kids get older because it's pointless.
