There is proof. Several medications including Ability, Caplyta, and Vraylar are currently being used to successfully treat stuttering. The organizer of the Facebook group, Treatment for Stuttering Support Group, and personal friend, is being treated with medication by Dr. Maguire and is now 99% fluent. Dr. Maguire is, himself, a stutterer, medication-treated, and you can watch his YouTube and Google videos. He is 99% fluent. I am also a patient and I don't believe this is all placebo effect. If you would like links, please Reddit chat. There is current research on PUBMED, giving validity to medication treating stuttering.
