That’s correlation not causation. That’s like saying people who stutter are more likely to have bigger penises so stuttering must cause having a bigger penis. It’s considered a neurological/neurogenic/neurodevelopmental condition but that doesn’t mean it’s a neurological disorder for everyone who stutters. We can’t say that until we know the actual cause, not just correlations.
