I don’t stutter so I can’t speak to that. But I’ve read the responses here and there’s a lot of good things to consider and use. Regardless of how your stuttering improves, you are taking the first important step and that is you’re not ignore it—you’re facing it head on—and that takes courage. You have to fight the temptation to let it define you or overwhelm you. I just wanted to add one thing if you haven’t already tried it. Find someone to practice doing interviews bc anxiety and nervousness are factors that affect stuttering. Be sure the person who works with you gives you good honest feedback and is someone you trust. It may take a while to reduce your nervousness but it will lessen. Anyone will tell you that one of the biggest ways to deal with speaking / interview anxiety is to practice it, again and again, and again. It will take work but it’s worth it, you’re worth it.
