I use to dread introducing myself in front of groups. Then I decided that it wasn’t going to let this ruin my life. So I started practicing, visualizing and rehearsing at home. I did it over and over for years. Nowadays I still stumble here and there but the anxiety is gone. Now I can introduce myself easily in front of large groups. I even MCed a whole event last year and killed it. Why am I saying this? Im not looking for kudos. I still have my bad days but Im saying we can all improve if we make a little effort. Work on your anxiety. Face your fear head on. It sounds counterintuitive but embrace your stutter. Its all about mindset.
