I know exactly how you feel. EXACTLY. But there are workarounds. The average person is scared to death of human contact (which I find ridiculous) and this was true BEFORE corona. That’s why nearly everything has moved to being app based. When you order food and such you can usually write in directions. Or when UberEats or PostMates calls me I just don’t answer the phone and instead text the numbers back and it usually works. Look for the special instructions section whenever you make an order. We have it rough and super hard, but there are ways to get what you want without sacrificing your dignity. You’re not alone. And you’re not a coward. Remember that.
