I wouldn’t call it a screw up at all. Most of us (if not all of us) went/are going through such things and those are probably the most stressful situations for PWS. You actually came to school even though you were probably terrified and worried how things would work out, and that’s focken brave and responsible of you. Kudos for that!!! Your partner was probably not the most supportive person but that’s because he doesn’t understand the issue and is being an ignorant prick. That presentation nor the partner define you as a person. You can use this experience to make it better for the next time - talk to the person who’s going to be involved and explain that any pushing is making things worse and that the stuttering isn’t something you’d choose but it’s here and a bit of understanding can make things better. Also, do the things from your side for the next time - don’t expect from yourself to do a presentation fluently and like others. Your job is to do it with the stutter and that’s ok because you have a place in that classroom just like everybody else. Do the things you love today to reward yourself for the bravery and persistence you’ve demonstrated. ❤️
