One of my pet peeves are movies (it's mostly shows) where everyone speaks like a world class orator and poet. No short sentences, no straightforward answers, no thinking before coming up with the perfect words. Character one: How's your day? Character two: "When I was in college, I came across these two sparrows on a tree branch...........*monologues for 5 minutes before getting to the point".
