I just watched Netflix's Daredevil series (if you're into comic books, holy crap it's an awesome show) and the main character is a blind guy who has much success with the ladies . . . his friend calls it "the whole wounded duck thing." Stuttering in men has a bit of a 'wounded duck' effect, I think. And in women it's not a big deal at all. Fears over dating come from underlying anxiety, not from reality (apart from a few jerks out there).
