Having a stutter in life altering situations Today my niece was taken from my brother (an addict) by CPS. I’m the main point of contact as I’ve cared for her throughout the course of her life. I’m 25 and my stutter flares up in stressful situations. Of course today when having to make multiple phone calls and being interviewed by CPS I kept blocking. I hate how this feels. It makes me feel small; not capable of taking care of things at important times. I got it figured out, my niece is safe and sound with me. It just makes me feel so shitty when all is said and done.
