How do I enjoy school while having a severe stutter?

How do I enjoy school while having a severe stutter? I’m still in school and my stutter is pretty bad. It’s so hard to make friends or even talk to my desk mates and being in classrooms is sometimes intimidating for me since I’m anxious around social situations due to my stutter.
