Don't get discouraged by our response to your results and experiences. We opened up a discussion here and I think that's progress enough. As much as I don't think there is a link with gluten and stuttering improvement, I think that if you find comfort and some improvement in your speech then that's always a good thing. A placebo effect is an effect nonetheless and if you feel you're doing better then what does it matter to others if it is gluten or not. In our cases, since stuttering does have a psychological component to it, we can use placebo effects short-term to get us through some tough times in our fluency. Just to forewarn you though, with placebo improvements in speech, it usually doesn't last for long so I don't want you to get discouraged after that. It's safer to experiment with foods than with drugs/medications (unless of course you're diabetic or have cardiovascular issues but that's a discussion for another day). All I'm saying is do your thing. Because more intensive research starts with case reports like this.
