I couldn't have said it better myself, literally! That's all great advice that takes time, experience, and maturity to learn. I am 31 years old and am now barley finding myself. I no longer look at stuttering as being who I am, just something I do. I can go up to strangers and stutter in front of them without feeling all that embarrassment. It took years of pain, embarrassment, and dark times to get to a decent place. I still have lots of work to do and this post has giving me that little extra pep to not slack off as I have been. I'd definitely like to add that exercise and keeping a good personal body image is extremely helpful. It keeps your confidence high and in my experience confidence is the key to overcome the negativity of stutterring. Look good, feel good. Great post, keep the positivity up!
