Just guessing... You're either doing something different with your breathing, or you're tensing muscles. Some physiological that you are doing is causing a headache. Very skeptical of the "brain power" theory. How exactly are you "trying not to stutter?" Record yourself on your phone or do whatever it is you're doing in a mirror. See if you can identify a physical reason for the headache.
