When I went to therapy as a teen, this always was the case. Usually when I think about stuttering, I stutter more. It's mainly the anxiety behind it. If you think about stutters, well, chances are you're going to stutter. But, for most of us, that's just part of it. If you're able to get past the anxiety of speaking and the worry about stuttering, it will be somewhat better.
