That lines up with my experience of the one girl I know in real life who stutters. I'll talk to her for five minutes and then wonder how I got to know her and I'll be like oh right she stutters. She's fairly stressed about it but I honestly forget she does it because she covers it up so well. Me on the other hand, you just have to say hello to find out I stutter.
