To piggy back off of this, I only let my girlfriend finish my sentences for me. Especially if I didn't get a lot of sleep the night before (my stutter worsens if I don't get good sleep). We've been together for a long time (6 years) and I know its coming from a place of love rather than from a place of impatience.
