You are not your stutter *positive post* It’s easy to get stuck in a spiral of hopelessness because of your stutter or blocks. It can feel lonely and frustrating. But believe me when I say that acceptance is the first step to setting yourself free of those emotions that are just down right exhausting you. I know if you’re in a bad place you’re reading this and rolling your eyes; I’ve done the same. But this week start everyday looking yourself in the mirror and thinking of everything that makes you uniquely you. Your strengths and what you like about yourself. It’s a perfect way to fuel your self esteem for the day. Unrelated to speech, but I highly recommend Jonah Hills documentary on Netflix “Stutz.” The radical acceptance step is something that stuck with me and that I’ve been practicing. *Hugs*
