Yes - been a web developer for 7 years now. I definitely stammer from time to time in our weekly meetings (get to demo the work you've completed / started in the past week), same with our daily standup meetings (2-3 mins on what you did yesterday, what you will do today, any blockers, etc) However, it's never really been an issue. It's definitely stressful on me, and provides lots of anxiety, but 99% of the time I'm the only one that actually cares about my stutter. Its a process I'm still working on, but facing your fears and attempting these little 'speeches' in public is a very good thing. Rewarding, too! Obviously outside of these small examples, there isn't a lot of communication (Verbal) like other jobs. So it can be really nice if you're having a particularly bad day. I highly recommend you go for it... you might not get away with 100% written communications but even just to advance your career, seems like a smart move.
