Content
Awesome man! Message if you want more detail or further info too. A lot of comms people can work fully remote. So their talking is mostly on zoom and secondarily phone calls. There's a lot of specialization and tailoring the job to your skills. They wouldn't ask me to host a public dinner; they might ask another comms person who was more clearly adept at that. I lean to my content skills in photography and video and social management, as well as strategy (like, does this new initiative align with our organizations direction? What will people think if we made this service level change?). Other comms people are better graphic designers. Others are hosting the events. Others lean to writing and media releases and publications and newsletters. Others lean internal (keeping staff happy and aware of things) vs external. It's a really wide open and rapidly growing field.
