Very interesting. The main reason why I have hesitated from prescription drugs is because of the perceived side effects and dependency. I have been under therapy for the last 13 years and have seen great results. Have gone from a severe to a mild-moderate stutter. And just like you said, my stuttering increase exponentially with anxiety. Did you try therapy with the anti-anxiety medication? If not, are you thinking about trying that mode of therapy this time? I know what you mean. I think we stutterers are clairvoyants when it comes to our speech. We have a certain stigma attached to some words/letters and can see the stutter comes from miles away. I am on magnesium + thiamine right now. I take 450mg Magnesium (150/meal). The effects that I have noticed is that I can come out of blocks more easily. The other thing is that at times when I have a premonition of a stutter coming up on a certain words/letters and I head into the block, surprisingly, I am able to get by the block with application of therapy.
