Seems true in my case. I graduated valedictorian of my high school class and got the third highest SAT score in my high school's history. Never finished college though and have been grinding it out in blue collar jobs ever since. Not that I'm complaining. I make good money these days and enjoy what I do so I've got it a whole lot better than most.
