I'm literally right there with ya bro..I'm 32 and gave up 5 years ago. Do I keep on trying to some extent yes. But I hit a breaking point and realized that if your a severe stutterer normal life is pointless & won't be achieved. Today I ofcourse keep doing what I have to do..but being away from the constant grind & anxiety is liberating in a way. Accepting is therapeutic...I do think that it shouldn't stop you from doing things that make life worth while. But trying to be social like everybody else for me atleast just doesn't seem to be a option for my life.
