You call it hope. I call it delusion. Acceptance of reality does'nt make you "hopeless", it makes you a realest. No stutterer ever truly loses hope or gives up. You just realise a life long struggle trying to achieve the unattainable isn't worth it and acceptance is the key to a better more happier existence. Still, that does'nt mean i dont hold hope for a scientific breakthrough delivering a cure in the future, which i would gladfully accept. What i do know is self help books about changing your brain and getting rich aint it nor anything else currently out their that pushes the myth of complete fluency.
