Well, you've turned out to be a loving and kind father with compassion for others, and you also have a stutter. Your daughter will likely turn out to be similarly blessed. Kids pick on each other for all sorts of reasons - how they dress, their parents, things they said or did, where they live, what the like or don't like - the list is endless. Being picked on for stuttering sucks but if it wasn't that, it would be something else. Building up a personal resistance to childish taunting is one of the more unpleasant, but necessary, facets of growing up within a society.
