I´m a consultant in audit. I recently had an job interview at a big four company. I was totally nervous, thought all the week about the interview. So I was not concerned about my professional skills, I was really concerned how not to stutter the complete interview, so I´m pretty sure I know your feelings very well. So, I didn´t got the job. In the first round I stuttered all the time, it was an disaster. I was pretty near to stop the interview and flee, this scornful looks. But then I decided to stay for the last 2 rounds on this day and learned the hard way. I knew they would´t hire me, the pressure was out, only a normal conversation with some strangers and... nearly no stuttering for the rest of the interview. What I´m trying to say. Don´t stress you too much, it will only getting worse. I know it´s difficult but try to relax and release pressure. Don´t think all the time about the interview, go for a run before the interview and try to relax. Don´t think about the consequences. Maybe it will help to instruct the interviewer regarding your issue, it will also release pressure from your shoulders. I wish you all the best!!
