I usually tell the recruiter or HR rep before the first interview, "By the way, I have a stutter so if you hear any dead air (over the phone) its not the connection." Or sometimes when they ask if i need any special assistance with the interview I take that as an opportunity to tell them that I stutter and just be patient.
