It helps me to say smth like "I'm stuttering in every language I speak" when I first stutter with a new people in foreign language. Sometimes stuttering is perceived as if person cannot come up with the right word (i.e. you don't know your second language well), disclosing that I stutter at the beginning of the acquaintance usually dissolve the prejudice (if there were any) and ease my mind.
