It was "gone". Anyone experienced the same? I'm not familiar with the different techniques for stuttering and I'm new at sharing experiences with others, but I went through a speech therapy that went like this: 1. Don't talk at all for a week. 2. Listen to recordings of stories in which the first syllable of each word is extended. 3. Do different mouth and breath exercises. 4. Speak exclusively by extending the first syllable of each word, for a month. 5. Gradually reduce the extension, but continue the listening and mouth exercises plus syllable extension exercises. 6. Speak normally but continue the exercises. My stuttering was completely gone. Even while speaking at normal speed, I wasn't stuttering with any word. However... I gradually restarted stuttering 1 month after the therapy was over. The daily exercises I have to do are a little over 1 hour, and doing them everyday is such a hassle, so I stopped doing them. Also even if I restart them, it feels like I either need many consecutive days of exercises, or that it won't ever "be gone" again without a dedicated therapy. Has anyone experienced anything similar?
