I don’t agree with that superlative. Even if that superlative is true, I don’t agree with the implication that we are somewhat better than others on the internet. And I also don’t agree that slang is nonsensical. I mean, I use slang. It’s a social tool. It’s a form of expression. It’s how dialects form. Someone’s vernacular, regardless of the medium (e.g. a school essay, online forums, in-person conversation), should not be a metric for one’s “betterness” over another group.
