Kinda similar but not rly, I went to law school and realised my stutter was so bad I would never be successful at doing trials. So I've gone into a more advisory practice which I love, and I rarely, if ever, have to speak in court. So yes I had to limit my options because of my speech but I've still done something pretty good with myself, which I think is all we can do with the cards we're dealt.
