Yeah, good question. In 99% of my daily interactions, I don’t stutter anymore. In the rare cases I do, I can get past it pretty easily by just not beating myself up over the small blocks I have. When I have these, it’s usually because I’m in a highly vulnerable, sensitive and anxious state (like prepping for a big presentation and I’m imagining every possible negative outcome). The biggest part of the battle isn’t avoiding stuttering completely. It’s knowing how to mentally process it when it does occur. When you don’t crucify yourself after each occurrence, they really don’t have to be such a problem anymore, because you can just keep moving without letting each stumble ruin the moment.
