the importance of language. how much we're connected by communication. language is as real a physical connector as a rope is between two people, and maybe even more real. but also what i realized how much bullshit its based on. most conversations are like 90% fluff, like saying you're "okay" when u just finished crying, or "good to see you" when you actually hate them. or being pressured to speak a specific dialect ("proper", "black" , etc). i think being often unable to participate in conversations lets me be much more observant, and it seems like half the time people dont even listen to each other. i also notice how much people make decisions based on mantras or memes generated by their culture. and as said before by other people on this thread, people are assholes. why does me stuttering make you think you can treat me worse?
