There's no way a person that close to you hasn't noticed you stutter _in two years_. Have you really not mentioned it at all in all that time? Seems to me you could mention it completely nonchalantly, if you feel like you must - maybe you feel like you're holding something back, which sounds like an unfortunate waste of concern. Also, yeah, it's not uncommon to feel distressed by another person stuttering. But that can change. You might see if you can actively change your interpretation on what's going on, what's expected of you, what the problem is, if anything at all - that sort of thing.
