Career in Speech Therapy Hey guys. I’m currently in uni studying psychology and I’ve been thinking about what I wanna do in the future a lot lately. I do have a stutter so obviously being a CBT therapist and majority of other therapist would be a bit of a challenge and maybe not ideal. However, I was thinking of also becoming a speech therapist. I think the main reason is that I know first hand what having a stutter is like and I don’t want people to go through what I’ve been through. With that being said, speech therapists what advice can you give me? What made you decide to be a speech therapist? Are there any books, courses etc that could also help me learn more? Also if you’re a speech therapist with a stutter, does that affect your sessions?
