Making phone calls - idea I’m assuming that we all struggle with phone calls. I find them the top worst situation to go through. I’d much prefer just asking for something in person. I seen a Reddit post on a home improving sub asking what this 80s looking wall installed phone handset was for. I looked in the comments and someone had replied with “pizza summoner”. It got me thinking. When telephones started to become a household thing, did people used to think they were just talking to a computer/robot? I’m wondering this because I don’t stutter much when asking Alexa something or typing with speech. With AI improving really quickly, they’re will probably be a time where we can’t tell the difference between a human speaking and AI speaking. My idea - Imagine that it’s not a person at the other end of the phone. Pretend it’s a really advanced AI. I’m going to try this at some point so I’ll let you’s know how I get on
