Yeah it really sucks, having to put extra effort to do what normal people take for granted. It's like a race where we start several kilometers behind the others but are expected to catch up to everyone else. The more successful people on this subreddit would say that we just have to endure it and suck it up. I wish I could say the same, but I've already quit college two times (not solely because of my stutter, but stuttering does affect my personality to a degree where I tend to shut out everyone else from my life, which in turn made my college life into a mess) so I can't say the same without feeling like a hypocrite.
