The most life changing moment I had was when learned to tell people about my stutter. When someone asks me if I forgot my name I let them know I stutter. The :o surprised pikachu face and profuse apologizing they give after that is so sweet and actually nice that they didn't anything by it. I'm so sorry your family jokes about it :(((((
