I think a major difference in the psychology is the "you should know this already". We see speech like we should know it already. And. If we didn't stutter. Then that might be true. But we do so we shouldn't act like we're experts on speaking already. We should act like we're learning. And then we can learn.. maybe a good starting point to learn is defence mechanisms from the main post.
