don't normally do this but clicked on your profile and saw you're a waiter - awesome job! i got thrown into a journalism career at 19 and it was the gauntlet i needed to get over stuttering and learn to talk to people despite it. i think the only way stuttering can hurt your chances with girls is in situations like coming up to a girl at the bar and stuttering (coming up to people in bars is not something i do). i remember an online date when i was much younger, 10 years ago, and the girl asked me to leave her a voice mail before we met, and that was a huge failure as you could expect. but once you establish any sort of friendly relationship, people in general just don't care at all about your stuttering. it's not a big deal to other people. that can frustrate stutterers sometimes because non-stutterers really don't take it seriously, but ultimately it's good. getting in shape and building muscle really helps too...little bit controversial truth is if you look really good, you hardly even have to speak anyway
