You've acknowledged that the psychosocial aspect is secondary to the neurological and genetic factors but want to focus on the psychosocial aspects. However, the genetic factors account for at minimum 80% of stuttering. Why focus on the 20% of what's going on in stuttering rather than the 80%? I disagree that we can't address the genetic factors. How do you think we discovered treatments for epilepsy? It was through genetics.
