Believe it or not, I still stutter sometimes when I'm alone. Based on your experience, what's causing that? Some kind of curse? I stutter because my mom stutters, my uncle stutters, my uncle (dad's brother) used to stutter, and my great-uncle stuttered. I've very glad to be who I am, stuttering and all. It's okay to have your opinion to rationalize how you cope with it but don't think it applies to everyone, especially when you didn't seem to offer a suggestion or thought, rather a conclusion based on little evidence.
