I don’t stutter but my husband does. Our 7 year old started stuttering around age 4. He’s been in speech therapy since he was 5 and rarely if ever stutters now. There are random days where he’ll have a block but they’re rare. My husband had a great uncle who stuttered as well as his paternal grandmother. Definitely some hereditary stuff going on
