In my experience, high school required more speaking than college. By that I mean that there's less pressure to speak by peers/teachers. It also depends on your classes. I am majoring in computer science so my schedule is full of math and programming classes which generally don't require presentations and stuff. The professors usually only have enough time to lecture before class is out. There will be times where your going to have to speak, like for an occasional presentation or something. A big difference between high school and college is the students. High school students are immature and obnoxious- even some of the teachers too! There is way less of that noise in college. When you stutter in college, they're more understanding. Everybody is there to learn. Also, counseling and support groups are usually available for students.
