lol. Naw, don’t hate the little rascal but try to work with him. Light Articulatory Contact is the idea of gently producing the /k/ sound but not completely stopping the flow of air. Try this: Say the word Kim or Cash. Note that the back of your tongue raises and acts like a valve to stop the air. Then notice how it wants to stick in this position as you try to force it into submission. The harder you try the more stuck it gets. For some people the vocal cords valve close too. Notice the tightness in your chest and upper body? Now, try saying Kim or Cash very slowly barely making the /k/ sound. Don’t completely let your tongue valve shut. Kinda “mush” the /k/ sound. Go slow and deliberate. Notice the difference?
