That’s really good to know! I am a middle and high school speech therapist and sometimes I really struggle to find materials that are age appropriate. Sometimes you want something with simple language for practice but that is cognitively at the person’s level and it’s so hard to find! Do you think that if your speech therapist had explained why they were using “babyish” materials that would have made a difference, or really only if they were using something that was actually more at your level?
