Well, that's the overly casual version. Basically I'd been working only 15 hours a week for many years due to my mental health issues, then my company shut down so everyone lost their jobs. That was December 2015. I assumed / expected I'd find another similar part time job within a few months. But nope...that didn't happen. Where I live, once you're over 30, you're considered old. I was now old. So no one was interested. After about 6 months, I realised I couldn't cope with being around people for any length of time and wouldn't be able to work for anyone else / a company / boss ever again. So...here I am.
