I disagree, why wouldn’t they coexist? People with stutters get married, date and have social lives, you only have to look for certain threads in this subreddit to see that people here CAN and do have meaningful relationships. The problem comes when your insecurity gets in the way and then you begin assuming that all the wrongs in your life exist because you stutter. I’ve gone through this plenty of times. But it’s bs. Is it harder to date with a stutter? Yes. Is it abnormal to date with a stutter? No. If someone genuinely likes you they will not care. You care more. Chin up!
